![]() Not in that pleasant tingly way that implies a product is “working” but in that “I’ve-just-rubbed-a-cheese-grater-on-my-face” way.Īfter panic-Googling and visiting a dermatologist, it became evident that I was paying the price for not religiously applying sunscreen and giving much thought to what I was putting on my face. One day I woke up with red blotches on my cheeks (a month before my wedding), and my usual skincare routine started to burn. I thought I had a skin type (oily) and just used whatever products fell in that category.ĭeep in my thirties, I developed rosacea out of seemingly nowhere. Having been blessed with generally good skin, I never paid too much attention to skincare when I was younger apart from trying to drink a lot of water (water = selfcare in your twenties). ![]() etc. You’re still on the diet and lifestyle of your twenties but you’re finding out that hangovers are a multi-day thing, your metabolism starts taking days off and your skin begins to protest every little change in the environment. ![]() Does anyone have personal experience after wearing this sunscreen? I'm far from a chemist, so if the filter %s are accurate are they enough to provide legitimate protection? etc. In their Q&A section at the bottom of the page, they state the UV filter's percentages (3% of Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate and 2% of Ethylhexyl Triazone).Īnyways, what are everyone's thoughts on all of this info? I know I'm not the only one who's been speculating. They provide a chart stating that the PPD is 22.59. (Sorry Purito!!!!!! I hope so badly I'm just being paranoid!!!) However, due to conflicting information about the actual UVA protection of the sunscreen that I continuously keep on stumbling across, I can't help but feel skeptical about the legitimacy of Purito's PPD test. The release of Purito's Unscented initially seemed like a GODSEND, especially after reading LabMuffin's review (who is really the only skincare blogger I feel I can trust). I can't use anything with alcohol, so for a loooooong time Skin Aqua UV Super Moisture Milk has been my HG, but although it always kept my skin protected (even on 100+ degree beach days), it dries out my skin horribly. It is the ONLY sunscreen I have tried that doesn't dry out my dehydration-prone skin. I, like many others, was ecstatic to try out Purito's new unscented sunscreen.
